About the design

A 5 inch FPV quad for top speed, printed in PETG HF and modelled in Blender. Its body stands along the thrust axis, as the record speed quads' do, because a quad leaning 70 to 80 deg at full speed meets the air nearly along that axis. The camera sits in a pointed nose with 45 to 75 deg of uptilt, the stack in the hub and the battery upright in a tapered tail whose four fins are its feet. Teardrop arms bolt into the hub, so a crash costs one arm, and each carries its motor hanging below a dome. It flies on 2306 motors, 5.1 in props and 6S.

What you can change

  • Prop size from 4.5 to 5.5 in
  • Motor, battery and stack
  • Camera size and its range of uptilt
