About the design
The stand prints flat in one go as a thin card of five pieces joined by print-in-place hinges. Fold the backrest up, swing out the kickstand that lies in its window and flip up the two lip ears, and it holds a phone or tablet in a thick case at a comfortable reading angle. The ears leave the port, speakers and microphone clear, and a slot through the base takes a right-angle charging plug. Rounded corners and softened edges keep the card neat, it folds flat again to carry, and the kickstand's length comes from a tipping check, so a firm tap does not knock it over.
